NUDS Children’s Days
ตามที่ทั่วโลกให้การสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมในเรื่องความสำคัญของเด็กและสิทธิที่เด็กพึงได้รับ จึงเป็นที่มาของ “วันเด็ก” ที่นานาประเทศต่างร่วมกันเฉลิมฉลองและสร้างสรรค์กิจกรรมสำหรับเด็กๆ ในรูปแบบต่างๆ กัน เช่นเดียวกับโรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร (ปฐมวัยและประถมศึกษา) ที่ร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการให้ความสำคัญกับเด็ก นอกเหนือไปจากการให้การศึกษา นั่นคือ การบ่มเพาะให้เด็กๆ ได้เรียนรู้ที่จะเติบโตเป็นบุคคลที่มีค่าต่อสังคมและดำรงชีวิตอยู่อย่างมีความสุขตั้งแต่วัยเยาว์
เพื่อสนับสนุนแนวคิดดังกล่าว เมื่อวันที่ 10 มกราคม 2563 ทางโรงเรียนจึงได้จัดกิจกรรมวันเด็ก หรือ NUDS Children’s Day ให้แก่นักเรียนชั้นอนุบาล 1 ณ ลานกิจกรรมโรงเรียนสาธิตฯ โดยมีรองผู้อำนวยการ รศ.ดร.วรินทร บุญยิ่ง และเจ้าหน้าที่โรงเรียน เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมและจัดสถานที่เป็นเวทีให้เด็กๆ ได้เล่นและแสดงออกอย่างสนุกสนานตามซุ้มกิจกรรมทั้ง 4 คือ “ซุ้มเกมส์ตักไข่ทายสี” ที่ให้นักเรียนได้ฝึกสมาธิช้อนตักของชิ้นที่ลอยอยู่ในน้ำแล้วตอบคำถามเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ “ซุ้มเกมส์เตะบอลเข้าโกล” ที่เด็กๆ ต้องคาดคะเนระยะและแรงส่งเพื่อเตะลูกบอลให้เข้าประตู “ซุ้มโยนห่วง” ที่ช่วยเด็กๆ ได้ฝึกกล้ามเนื้อมัดใหญ่ของร่างกาย และ “ซุ้มสนุกกับเพลง” ที่เด็กๆ ต้องตอบคำถามและทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ ผ่านการร้องเพลง ซึ่งกิจกรรมหลากหลายเหล่านี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อให้เด็กๆ ได้ฝึกทักษะความกล้าแสดงออก ฝึกการถาม-ตอบ ฝึกที่จะแสดงออกในรูปแบบต่างๆ อย่างมีความสุขร่วมกันกับเพื่อนๆ
ทั้งนี้ การเปิดโอกาสให้เด็กได้ทำสิ่งต่างๆ ด้วยความเข้าใจแบบ ‘เล่นเพื่อรู้’ (Play to Learn) เป็นการส่งเสริมให้พวกเขาได้รู้จักคุณค่าในตัวเองและบ่มเพาะศักยภาพตั้งแต่แรกเริ่ม อันจะเป็นพื้นฐานสู่อนาคตที่ดี เพราะพวกเขาไม่เพียงแต่จะเติบโตเป็นคนดีและมีความสุข แต่จะเป็นคนที่มีค่าของครอบครัว ประเทศชาติ และโลกใบนี้ด้วยเช่นกัน

As all over the world supports the importance of children and the rights that they deserve, “Children’s Day” has been celebrated in many countries through different kinds of activities. Likewise, apart from giving children education, Naresuan University Demonstration School (Kindergarten and Primary) takes part in strengthening their significance in terms of bringing them up to be a person of value to the society and raising them to live happily since childhood.
Accordingly, on 10th January 2020, the school organised NUDS Children’s Day for K1 students in the activity area, led by NUDS Deputy Director Assoc.Prof.Dr. Varinthorn Boonying together with the staff who arranged the place as a stage for the kids to play and perform through four Zones of Fun: “Fetch the Egg. Guess the Colour” that trained the students to concentrate by getting an object floating in the water and answering questions in English; “Kick the Ball to the Goal” that made them learn to estimate distance and force; “Loop & Hoop” that helped the kids to exercise their body muscles; and “Singing with Fun” that required them to answer questions and do activities through singing. All these games aim to encourage the children to develop their performance skills, do questioning-answering practices and have courage to express themselves happily with friends.
Giving children an opportunity to do things with an understanding through ‘Play to Learn’ activities is a way of supporting them to realise their own value and developing their capacity at the early age. This helps establish the foundation for their good future; they will be not only a good and happy person, but also a valuable person to the family, the nation and the world.
