NUGS Dean bags 14th APIC-IST 2019 ‘Outstanding Paper Award’
Naresuan University Graduate School Dean, Professor Paisarn Muneesawang Ph.D., won the “Outstanding Paper Award” for his manuscript “Applying Augmented Reality to Telemedicine in Thailand, using the HoloLens” during the 14th Asia Pacific International Conference on Information Science and Technology (APIC-IST 2019) held in Beijing, China on 23 – 26 June 2019.
The “Applying Augmented Reality to Telemedicine in Thailand, using the HoloLens” academic manuscript is the result of the research work, which Dr. Paisarn is spearheading, aimed at providing support for rural hospitals and medical facilities from a centralized location where specialist surgeons and trauma specialists are available and located.
